Our President and CEO Lourdes de la Colina-Scofield is a native Spanish speaker who was born and raised in Peru where she was bilingual from an early age. She is Licentiate in accounting and worked at Arthur Anderson and The World Bank while living there. After moving to the US, she became passionate and dedicated about teaching Spanish. She is a certified tutor for the National Tutoring Association. Since 2011, she has been teaching private and group lessons for both adults and children and in 2022, she formed ‘Zoom into Spanish,’ based in Pittsford, NY, providing nationwide online Spanish classes and helping many students succeed.
Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world so learning it will give you access to more culture; be able to connect with more people and have access to more resources here and abroad.
